Ultra Smooth

Created an extremely smooth riding surface:

  • Used different lift depths from the original contract (with customer approval).
  • Prevented imperfections with a combination roller and material transfer device.
  • Constant monitoring and thermal testing for a uniform asphalt temperature and density.

Ahead of Schedule

Only 80 construction days.

Minimized delays to the traveling public by milling in the winter and filling in the summer.

Each crew member on the job had 20+ years experience.
